Part-Time Nanny for Two School-Age Boys (Ages 6 & 8)
We are a warm, welcoming family seeking a loving, reliable, and engaging nanny to care for our two energetic and kind-hearted boys, ages 6 and 8. We are looking for someone who truly enjoys working with children, is hands-on and playful, and becomes a trusted and positive presence in our children’s daily lives.
This role is ideal for someone who is nurturing, organized, flexible, and confident managing both childcare and household responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving, and age-appropriate care for two boys
- Transport children safely to and from school, extracurricular activities, and appointments (a family vehicle will be provided)
- Follow daily and weekly schedules laid out by parents, with flexibility as needed
- Actively engage with the children through play, games, outdoor activities, reading, and creative projects
- Foster a fun, respectful, and supportive environment that encourages learning and independence
- Assist with homework and school-related tasks as appropriate
- Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children
Household & Additional Duties
- Maintain a tidy and organized home environment
- Load and unload dishwasher and manage daily dishes
- Fold and put away laundry (children’s laundry and light household laundry as needed)
- Assist with general daily chores that support the smooth running of the household
- Additional hours may be available for normal household duties during times when childcare is not needed
Schedule & Flexibility
- There is no set weekly schedule or guaranteed number of hours, as our family’s needs vary depending on the time of year
- Plenty of advance notice will be provided whenever possible regarding schedule and hours
- Occasional short-notice care may be requested
- Occasional overnight care required
- Some flexibility needed for school breaks, special events, or changes in routine
- Travel opportunities may be available with the family and are optional but a plus

Ideal Candidate Qualities

- Responsible, organized, and dependable
- Strong communication skills with both children and parents
- Clean driving record and confident transporting children
- Previous nanny or childcare experience preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
