Original Baby Intown Learning Center is a small, loving, and family oriented neighborhood school. Through a mixture of philosophies, with a focus on play-based learning, we strive to provide our children with the warmest and most educational environment possible!
We are looking for a preschool teacher for our 2-4 year olds. Pay is based on experience and education.
Our goal is to foster children’s growth in all developmental areas: physical, cognitive, social, emotional, language and literacy. These goals are created with developmental processes in mind, rather than with the emphasis on the accomplishment of specific objectives. We believe children learn through a variety of experiences: whether it is writing letters using paint or creating them out of clay, counting stones, or learning environmental practices, science, gardening, etc.
It will be your job to provide engaging invitations to explore, often based on the interests of the class or a particular child. We are looking for someone who creates an open, engaging, magical place for exploration.
When you join our team, you will:
- Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
- Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
- Support our center’s success by partnering with staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
- Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, and community contacts
