Position: Addictions Technician
Regional Health Systems is Northwest Indiana’s largest provider of community-based mental health care, primary health care and addiction treatment services. We offer adults and children—both uninsured and insured—integrated care through our community mental health center and federally qualified health center. Regional Health Systems is a member of the Regional Care Group.
Position Purpose:
To provide technical psychiatric mental health and addiction services which are directed toward:
1. Creating a therapeutic milieu to facilitate treatment of addictions
2. Providing skills and support to enable clients to regain coping abilities and prevent further disability
3. Assisting the clients in developing a program of recovery
Essential Functions:
- Implement and monitor

Location: Strawhun Center – Merrillville, IN
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience – Behavioral health: 2 years (preferred)
Shift: Days/Evenings
Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 4p-12a
Fridays 8a-4p
Off on Wednesday and Thursday
