Job Description: Legacy Homes is expanding beyond our roofing and exterior storm-restoration roots into full-scale interior remodeling, and we're building the team to lead that growth. We're looking for an experienced Interior Remodeling Estimator / Sales Representative who can walk into a kitchen, bathroom, basement, or home addition project, scope and price it accurately from first walkthrough to final material order, and guide the homeowner through the sale with confidence.
This is a high-performance role with a spotlight on home additions, alongside kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, and basement finishing. You'll need real hands-on knowledge of materials and project scope from start to finish, the ability to price vendors and contractors accurately, and the organization to help manage a project through to completion. On top of your base salary, you'll earn a 1% revenue bonus for every project you help close and deliver, so extra effort on higher-ticket projects pays off directly.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-home consultations with homeowners to scope interior remodeling and home addition projects
- Prepare accurate, detailed estimates covering materials, labor, and vendor/contractor pricing from start to finish
- Present proposals, material and design options, and pricing to homeowners, and close sales or guide next steps
- Source and price vendors and subcontractors for home addition and remodeling projects
- Coordinate project scope, material orders, and scheduling with contractors and internal teams once a project is sold
- Track project budgets and timelines, and flag changes in scope or cost as projects move from estimate to completion
- Maintain accurate CRM records of leads, estimates, and project status
- Build strong relationships with homeowners and vendors to support referrals and repeat business
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience estimating residential construction or remodeling projects (kitchens, bathrooms, basements, or home additions strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated experience pricing vendors and contractors
- Strong working knowledge of materials and the full project lifecycle, from initial scope through final walkthrough
- Comfortable with light project management, including scheduling, budgets, and coordinating contractors and vendors
- Sales experience or strong consultative selling skills, with confidence presenting pricing and closing in a homeowner's home
- Ability to read plans/blueprints, take accurate field measurements, and translate scope into a detailed, accurate estimate
- Strong math, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with CRM and standard estimating/office software
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
