We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Dietary Server to join our Assisted Living team. This role is essential to creating a positive dining experience for our residents by providing courteous meal service while following dietary guidelines and food safety standards.
Serve meals and beverages to residents in the dining room in a friendly, respectful manner
Assist residents as needed during meals while promoting dignity and independence
Accurately follow resident diet orders, portion control, and special dietary needs
Set up, break down, and clean dining areas before and after meals
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dishware, and service areas
Work closely with dietary and nursing staff to meet resident needs
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control policies
Assist with food preparation and dishwashing as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous dietary, food service, or healthcare experience a plus (but not required)
Ability to work with elderly residents in a compassionate and patient manner
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Must be able to pass background screening and comply with state requirements
