Medical Biller| Full-time | Immediate Start | $20/hour
Job Summary
Responsible for transcribing and auditing patient charts to ensure accurate documentation and coding, entering charges into the billing system, and verifying that all services are billed correctly. Works closely with providers to maintain compliance, minimize billing errors, and support timely insurance claim submission and reimbursement.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM–12:00 PM & 2:00 PM–6:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
- Total clinic hours: 38-40 hours/week
Pay:
- $20/hour, full-time
- Annual raise of 3–5% based on performance and clinic goals
Responsibilities
- Transcribe provider notes into accurate patient charts.
- Audit patient charts for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Review documentation to ensure all billable services are captured.
- Input charges into the electronic health record (EHR) and billing system.
- Verify CPT, ICD-10, and other billing codes for accuracy.
- Identify and correct documentation or coding discrepancies.
- Communicate with providers regarding missing or incomplete chart information.
- Ensure charges are entered in a timely manner for claim submission.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and insurance billing regulations.
- Assist with resolving billing issues, claim rejections, and payment discrepancies as needed.
Skills
- Knowledge of medical billing, CPT, and ICD-10 coding
- Experience with EHR and medical billing software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay: $20/hour
- Annual performance-based raise: 3–5%
