GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Location: Enfield Senior Center
299 Elm Street, Enfield, CT
Coordinates delivery of home delivered meals to home-bound participants in the region. Recruits and instructs volunteers for delivery of meals.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

- Work with Senior Program Administrator to maintain accepted standards of food sanitation and safety regarding maintenance of proper food temperature.

Establish a network of volunteers and delivery routes for meal delivery.

Responsible for ensuring delivery of meals to clients.

Conducts semi-annual assessments to determine whether clients still meet the eligibility requirements for home delivered meals.

Receive calls from drivers when any problems might occur, and report concerns to Program Manager.

Check labels on meals for accuracy.
- Provide coverage for various positions when necessary.

Performs all other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Education: High school graduate or GED preferred
Minimum Years of Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience
Active Certification in good standing: Valid Driver’s license and good driving record is required
Demonstrate skills: Good customer service skills. Must have knowledge of basic computer skills. Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
