Optometric Technician

Vision One Eyecare is a premier clinic in Katy, Texas, specializing in primary eye care, specialty contact lenses, and advanced dry eye treatments. We’re looking for a friendly, motivated Optometric Technician to join our team and help deliver exceptional care in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Perform preliminary testing: autorefraction, tonometry, visual acuity, and more
- Operate advanced diagnostic equipment: OCT, retinal imaging, corneal topography
- Educate patients on contact lens handling and hygiene
- Assist the doctor during procedures and evaluations
- Manage optical orders and dispensing
- Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and ensure equipment readiness
- Support EMR documentation and clinical workflow
- Vision and Medical insurance verification.
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, energetic attitude with a focus on patient experience
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and general computer use
- Prior experience in optometry or healthcare is a plus — but we’re happy to train the right candidate
- Quick learner and collaborative team player
- Bonus: Research experience or fluency in Spanish or Chinese

- Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wed: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Location: In-person at our Katy office
