What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) performance across a variety of patient needs.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias using telemetry equipment.
- Administer IV insulin protocols and manage insulin drips effectively.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care procedures.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain meticulous records.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Ohio RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- At least 2 years of RN experience, including telemetry
- Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
- Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a PCU or telemetry unit
