Utility Foreman – Civil Construction
Location: Michigan
Compensation: $100k-$125k
We are seeking an experienced Utility Foreman to lead underground utility crews on heavy civil and site development projects. This position will oversee the installation of storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water main, and wastewater infrastructure while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Utility Foreman or Lead Utility Crew Member.
- Strong background installing:
- Storm Sewer
- Sanitary Sewer
- Water Main
- Wastewater Infrastructure
- Experience with trench safety, shoring systems, and utility testing procedures.
- Ability to read construction plans and utility profiles.
- Experience coordinating excavators, loaders, dozers, and support equipment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience withHorizontal Directional Drilling (HDD).
- GPS machine control experience (Trimble, Topcon, Leica).
- DOT, municipal, or site development project experience.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- CDL Class A preferred.
