Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Concrete Coatings & Polishing Technician to join our team.
This is a hands-on position working on polished concrete and resinous flooring projects. The ideal candidate has experience with concrete polishing, surface preparation, epoxy coatings, and construction equipment operation.
Responsibilities
- Operate concrete grinders, vacuums, burnishers, and surface preparation equipment
- Install polished concrete systems
- Install epoxy, polyaspartic, urethane cement, and other resinous flooring systems
- Perform surface preparation including grinding, shot blasting, and crack/joint repairs
- Follow project specifications and company quality standards
- Load, unload, and maintain equipment and materials
- Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Travel to project sites as required
QualificationsPreferred Experience
- Concrete polishing
- Epoxy flooring installation
- Polyaspartic coatings
- Surface preparation and shot blasting
- Joint filling and concrete repair
- Commercial construction experience
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds
- Ability to work on your feet throughout the day
- Willingness to travel overnight when required
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
