Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Auto Body Repair Estimator to join our collision repair team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive diagnostics, repair, and customer service, with the ability to accurately assess vehicle damages and prepare comprehensive repair estimates. Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to determine repair needs
- Prepare detailed and accurate repair estimates using industry-standard estimating software
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair procedures, costs, and timelines
- Coordinate with technicians and management to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Assist in upselling additional services such as vehicle maintenance, tire service, alignments, and suspension repairs
- Manage service writing documentation and ensure all work orders are complete and accurate
- Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and customer interactions
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and explaining repair processes clearly
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or automotive service management background preferred
- Strong auto estimating skills with knowledge of collision repair procedures
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and various repair specialties including transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, shocks & struts, air brakes, diesel engine repair, alignment, suspension, tire service, and automobile sales
- Experience in auto body repair or as a service technician is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell additional services effectively
- Prior experience in auto service management or auto sales will be considered an asset

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
