Responsibilities

Ensure program participants are learning introductory skills through the rules of play and the Y Way to Play.

Assist in parent interaction.

Ensure the program is running smoothly and safely with all activities starting and ending on schedule.

Other duties as assigned.

- Age 16 years or older.

Significant involvement and understanding of the sport.

CPR/First Aid/AED certification within 30 days.

Ability to organize and engage groups of children.

Know how to break down a skill and explain it so that participants can understand and perform the skill.

Ability to communicate and work with a variety of people including kids, staff, other host staff, and community members.
