Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pre-Kindergarten Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in their early childhood development journey. Duties
- Implement dynamic curriculum plan aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, STEM.
- Create an engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and social interaction among preschool-aged children
- Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining a positive behavior management approach
- Support children’s developmental milestones by applying knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies. Conduct formal learning assessments three times a year to assess students' comprehension of knowledge.
- Incorporate special education techniques to accommodate diverse learning needs and promote inclusive learning experiences. Able to work with and accommodate special needs students.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers through regular communication to support each child's welfare and educational growth
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting, with a minimum of classroom experience preferred
- Strong background in early childhood education, including curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques
- Knowledge of special education practices, early intervention strategies, and behavior management approaches
- Familiarity with literacy education, math instruction and STEM
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators
- Ability to create a nurturing environment that prioritizes child welfare and safety at all times
- Certification or degree in early childhood education or related field is highly preferred
