Job Summary
Provide friendly, attentive service in a fast-paced restaurant environment while creating a welcoming experience for guests. Must take accurate food and beverage orders, communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff, handle payments, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and ensure guests’ needs were met throughout their visit. Demonstrate strong multitasking, teamwork, communication, and customer-service skills while working efficiently during busy shifts. Pay is hourly, plus tips!
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while handling cash accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, wine knowledge, or dietary needs
Requirements
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is not required, but preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
