HVAC Technician Needed: Join the Service Relief LLC Team Got Skills? We Need 'Em. Got Jokes? Even Better.
Some people are just plain positive. Positive they know what they’re doing. Positive they can solve our customers’ problems. And committed to doing it all … with a positive attitude. If you're positive you can handle that, keep reading!
We’re in the business of making bad situations better. People call us when their HVAC systems go haywire, and they’re hoping we can make those problems disappear faster than a popsicle on a hot summer day. You’re the one with the knowledge to figure it out, the skills to fix it, and the patience to explain it to a stressed-out customer (bonus points if you can do it with a smile and a joke). For you, a good day is a day you feel like you’ve made a difference in somebody’s life. And if you made them laugh? Even better.
So yeah, you need the basic requirements:
- A high school diploma (or GED).
- A minimum of three years of HVAC experience (you've been there, done that, got the t-shirt).
- An active CT HVAC technician license (you've got the power!).
- A minimum of one year experience as an HVAC service tech (you know your stuff).
- A current and unrestricted driver’s license (you can drive, right?).
- A nice set of professional tools (no, your neighbor’s screwdriver set doesn’t count).
Blah, blah, blah. That’s not why we’re hiring you. You know what the job is really about: You do what it takes to get the problem solved. You prioritize tasks and execute them quickly and efficiently. You take the time to explain things to our customers, so they understand what their options are, and the best way to make things better. You care about our company’s reputation, your own good name, and the reputation of everyone else on the team. You’re the person who calls around at the end of the day to see if any of the other teams need help, because you’re already done.
Day-to-day, this job is about providing the best HVAC service we can, as assigned by the office. Estimates on new work, installations, repairs, maintenance, and most of all, customer service. You’re comfortable communicating with customers to help them understand the problem, and what we can do to fix it. You’re clean and tidy inside our customers’ homes, you’re pleasant and polite, and you’re always happy to give their dog a little scritch behind the ears. Bonus points if you can tell a joke that makes the dog laugh.
Five-star reviews come from five-star relationships, and that’s the opportunity you look for in every new client. If you’ve got jokes, bring them along too. We love a good laugh.
If this is you, let’s talk about the details. Tell us what you can bring to Service Relief LLC. Tell us about some of your favorite projects, and how you decided HVAC was the job that was right for you.
Let’s see if our stories go together.
