Franklin Square Market is currently seeking part-time food servers for its market bar and café. Candidates must have availability on weeknights and weekends.
Ideal candidates will be able to connect with guests and utilize their customer service skills in order to offer memorable dining experiences. All applicants must be team players, able to work with the rest of the staff for the benefit of guests.
SALARY: $10.00 hourly wage plus tips
Responsibilities:
- Taking food and beverage orders and accurately entering them into the ordering system.
- Answering questions and/or providing recommendations about the menu, including specials and seasonal offerings, ingredients, etc.
- Communicating food allergies and/or special dietary needs to kitchen staff.
- Ensuring orders are filled quickly and accurately, and to the guests’ satisfaction.
- Providing friendly and attentive service to guests, including drink refills as needed and inquiring as to needs during meals.
- Promptly attending to any customer service issues.
- Maintaining health and safety regulations in all kitchen and dining areas.
Requirements:
- One year of waitstaff experience is required.
- Experience using ordering systems.
- Strong interpersonal, listening, and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
- Ability to remain standing for the duration of the shift.
- Must be a team player.
Pay: From $10.00 per hour
