Roles & Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Prepare and bake daily items (e.g., breads, pastries, breads, or other menu staples) according to established recipes and production schedules.
- Preparing ingredients and recipes for other menu items such as sandwich fillings, in-house made syrups, garnishes, and more
- Assist with prep work such as scaling ingredients, portioning, mixing batters or doughs, shaping, etc.
- Maintain high standards for product quality, portion consistency, and presentation
- Follow food safety and sanitation protocols (proper storage, labeling, cleaning, etc.)
- Communicate proactively with the team about ingredient needs, equipment issues, or timing adjustments
- Support overall kitchen operations including cleaning, maintaining inventory, and organization
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a bakery, café, or culinary production setting highly preferred — strong interest and willingness to learn are equally valued.
- Comfortable working early mornings and on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in doing things right, even when unseen.
- Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a small team.
- Familiarity with baking principles, fermentation, shaping, weights/measures, and food safety standards.
Schedule & Compensation
- Early morning shifts (4am to 10am or 12pm); schedule may include weekends.
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience.

- Starting Salary is $23 per hour base, eligible for portion tip pool (estimated total base ~$26 including tip pool) - salary subject to experience level
