Join Young Rembrandts — a national award-winning after-school drawing program!
We’re looking for energetic, enthusiastic instructors to teach and assist drawing classes to children in public and private schools, preschools, and park districts. Our innovative, step-by-step curriculum makes it easy for kids to learn basic drawing techniques while building skills in focus, patience, and creativity.
About the Position:
- School-Year Classes: Held at the end of the regular school day in schools and preschools.
- Summer Classes: Offered through local park districts; classes are held once a week there are morning, afternoon and evening classes offered.
- Instructors are assigned to a consistent location for the duration of each session.
- Hourly pay is based on a per-class rate.
What We’re Looking For:
- Candidates with experience working with children, especially in group settings.
- Individuals who can motivate, guide behavior, and create a positive classroom environment.
- Availability to teach a minimum of 2–3 classes per week, preferably on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
- Must have reliable transportation.
