MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / COMPETENCIES
1. Serve as primary point of contact for onsite calibration scheduling, coordinating communication between technicians, lab teams, Operations, and vendors
2. Maintain daily/weekly schedules to ensure accurate resource allocation and timely completion
3. Maintain scheduling calendars to align team priorities and workflow
4. Support field technician during onsite services request with accuracy
5. Track equipment status (in service, out for repair, out-of-tolerance, decommissioned) Add, update, and manage instrumentation and onsite service requests with accuracy
6. Maintain calibration records within CMMS or calibration management software.
7. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, or other regulatory standards. traceability to national/international standards (e.g., NIST).
8. Identify and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts or risks.
9. Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and recommend corrective action
10. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to support service quality
11. Prepare, review and verify records for out-of-tolerance conditions and recommend corrective actions.
12. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION & TRAINING
- Associate degree or technical certification, or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience.
- Must have proven Calibration experience
• Military PMEL/TMDE/DOD training and familiarity with ISO 17025 standards preferred•
EXPERIENCE
1. 2+ years of experience in calibration, instrumentation, or maintenance.
2. Organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
3. Proficiency using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
4. Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
SKILLS
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Detail-oriented documentation management
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to meet deadlines effectively
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. for potential equipment onsite, receiving and shipping.
Pay range: $24/hr - $30/hr - Final compensation/salary will depend on experience.
