If you enjoy hands-on work, measuring to tight tolerances, and seeing the result of your effort at the end of every shift, this role is for you.
2nd Shift, Monday–Thursday, 4:30 pm – 3:00 am
- As a Level 1 Finisher
- Help operate Press Brakes, Shears, or Hot Melt machines.
- Support main Finishers with panel shearing, edge bending, and polyamide pours.
- Use measuring tape and calipers; apply math with fractions, decimals, multiplication, and addition.
- Perform visual quality checks.
- Assist continuous improvement efforts; flex your schedule as priorities change.
- Take on tasks at equal or lower job grades to support the department.
- Promote Fenner Precision Polymers values and behaviors.
- As a Level 2 Finisher
- Maintain proficiency in all Level 1 duties.
- Run a Press Brake, Shear, or Hot Melt Machine as the main Finisher, selecting setups and settings to meet quality standards.
- Give clear direction to your helper and communicate needs.
- Coach Level I Finishers and those developing toward Level II.
- Demonstrate Fenner Precision Polymers values and behaviors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- As a Level 3 Finisher
- Quickly preset and set up all Press Brakes, Shears, and Hot Melt Machines; act as main Finisher across equipment.
- Understand, follow, and help build ISO-aligned SOPs and work instructions.
- Engage in LEAN and world-class improvement projects.
- Train Level I and Level II Finishers.
- Uphold Fenner Precision Polymers values and behaviors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience/training; or equivalent education/experience.
- Follow all EHS policies, rules, and work instructions.
- Complete required EHS training.
- Wear PPE as required, at all times.
- Own safety by taking part in risk assessments, inspections, corrective actions, and safety observations—for yourself, co-workers, and visitors.
- Report incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions/acts, and hazards. STOP WORK when there is imminent danger.
- Keep your area neat and equipment in good working order.
