Position: Loan Officer/MSR
This role supports both lending and member services, assisting members in achieving financial success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Originate and process consumer loans and credit card applications, including interviewing applicants, pulling credit, making decisions, and communicating outcomes.
- Manage member accounts by processing transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, etc.) in person and through multiple channels.
- Provide accurate guidance on products, policies, and procedures while maintaining strong member relationships.
- Maintain accounts, verify transactions, balance daily settlements, and resolve discrepancies.
- Support members with payroll, EFTs, new account setup, and electronic services.
- Cross-sell products and follow up on new business opportunities.
- Handle referrals, correspondence, disputes, and administrative reporting.
Lending Duties:
- Interview applicants, explain loan options, and input applications into the system.
- Analyze credit, verify information, and approve or deny loans within authority or escalate as needed.
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with policies.
- Process collateral, lien releases, insurance, and loan payoffs.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Conduct outreach to businesses and organizations to grow membership.
- Participate in marketing events and promote Credit Union services.
- Perform additional operational and administrative duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within a Credit Union is preferred.
- Management experience is preferred.
- Symitar/Episys core processor experience.
