We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Residential Remodeling & New Construction Sales Consultant / Estimator to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Engage with clients to understand their remodeling or new construction needs, providing professional consultations and building strong relationships.
- Review construction drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to accurately interpret project scope and material requirements.
- Prepare detailed estimates using tools such as , Buildxact , Rendr & Renovate AI ensuring precise pricing for labor, materials, and subcontractor services.
- Manage project budgets by estimating costs, controlling expenses, and adjusting bids as necessary to meet financial targets.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure favorable terms while maintaining quality standards.
- Oversee the estimation process by managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of accurate proposals.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure estimates align with project specifications and site conditions.
- Utilize construction management software such as Buildxact to streamline workflows and improve estimating accuracy.
- Review construction site conditions during visits to verify project feasibility and adjust estimates accordingly.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all estimates, contracts, change orders, and project documentation for transparency and future reference.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction estimating, project management, or sales within residential remodeling or new construction sectors.
- Strong knowledge of construction drawing review, interpretation of technical drawings, and estimating material requirements from blueprints.
- Proficiency with estimation tools and other relevant software platforms.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer-focused approach to build lasting client relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines.
- Solid understanding of cost management principles including cost control, budgeting, and pricing strategies.
- Construction site experience is highly desirable for assessing project scope accurately on-site conditions.
- Familiarity with contracts, construction law basics, and managing projects as a construction estimator or manager is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to clearly convey technical information to clients and team members alike.
