The Shawgrass Marketing Manager role is essential for the continued growth of our business, diving deep into market segment activities and working across our marketing, operations and sales organization to develop projects and tools both for internal and external use and driving marketing segment projects forward.
The Shawgrass Marketing Manager is responsible for assisting in crafting and leading execution of the strategic Shawgrass business plans to meet set sales and market share targets and build brand recognition within the marketplace. They work closely with the Shawgrass Brand Manager to drive cohesion through all activities and interactions. Responsibilities include the oversight of planning, development and implementation of all Shawgrass-related marketing activities including events, social media, digital assets, trade shows, and special requests to enhance the customer experience. The Shawgrass Marketing Manager partners with the Shawgrass sales team and strategic accounts team to develop targeted communications and solutions-based tools to impact our clients.
We’re looking for someone who is sharp, social and highly motivated to manage the complexities and deadlines that come with a fast-paced, innovative, and growth-centric organization.
This role will work from our Calhoun, GA office at a minimum of three days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
Engage with internal and external customers to execute Shawgrass marketing projects.
Provide support to the sales team/VPSA team to enable revenue generation.
Create segment specific product launch campaigns.
Identify internal and external resources to help accomplish projects.
Manage workflow, schedule, and traffic of projects from concept to completion to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
Create segment specific content including project profiles, case studies and product support materials.
Provide segment specific training to the organization, including sales account managers.
Provide content, distribution lists and timing for press releases and media working closely with the Director of Communications to execute
Assist in measurement, tracking, and reporting on segment marketing budgets.
Own strategy, management, optimization and day to day operation of the company website to ensure it supports brand, marketing, and business objectives
Have a positive impact on our work environment and culture.
Coordinate and plan events for Shawgrass Service Centers
Requirements:
4-year business, marketing degree or relevant experience.
3+ years marketing and/or product development experience in the artificial grass category is desired or other related area
Clear and concise written and verbal communication & relationship building skills.
Ability to be a self-starter and figure out what is needed and follow through to completion
Ability to develop trusting relationships with a diverse organization
Excellent problem solver with outstanding attention to detail.
Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills
Well-developed, effective project management skills.
Ability to thrive in a complex team environment.
Good public speaking and presentation skills.
Ability to travel 15%
