Job Overview:

Reports to: Front Office Manager
Front Desk Essential Tasks:
- Act in accordance to As One Mission and Values, as well as Brand standard practices
- Enthusiastically greet guests upon arrival.
- Register and assign rooms to guests promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure safety measures are followed at all times.
- Date-stamp, sort, and rack incoming mail and messages.
- Transmit and receive messages using all communication avenues.
- Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests, and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
- Communicate effectively with guests and resolve complaints swiftly and effectively.
- Help hotels meet revenue goals
- Compute bills, collect payment, and make change for guests.
- Make, confirm, and cancel reservations via all communication avenues.
- Accurately post charges such as room, food, liquor, or telephone to guest bill.
- Make reservations, transportation, or entertainment reservations for guests.
- Deposit guest valuables in the hotel safe deposit box as requested and appropriate.
- Log and conduct wake-up calls timely and pleasantly.
- Ability to focus on the guest, ensuring complete satisfaction with each transaction and interaction.
- Ability to accurately use various office software.
- Follow all company and brand policies around safety procedures and training
- Assist with keeping the public spaces clean and appealing including but not limited to; trash removal, dusting, maintaining market/pantry stocking and rotation of supplies, and clean lobby appearance (mop/vac as needed)
- Act as Manager on Duty when senior management is not present for guest issues in accordance to your training and logically for the benefit of guests and company.
- Complete and follow all training as assigned.
- Ability to willingly perform other customer service and guest-related functions as required.
Night Auditor Essential Tasks:
- Act in accordance to As One Mission and Value, as well as brand standard practices.
- Prepare daily Revenue Report data by auditing Point of Service and PMS tapes/journals to break down revenue, covers, waiters' fees, tips paid out and settlements by type and cashier in locations where the hotel has an on-site hotel operated restaurant.
- Run audit reports/journals from the front office system, Point of Service and the computer.
- Make corrections and adjustments and handle all computer problems that might occur throughout the shift.
- Input into the front office system revenue/expenses/allowances to generate the daily reports such as the Guest Ledger Summary and the Daily Restaurant Summary.
- Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files and reset the system for next day operations.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Communicate effectively with guests and resolve complaints swiftly and effectively.
- Adhere to all safety training and policies as required by As One and Brand.
- Act as Manager on Duty in absence of senior management, making logical decisions to benefit guests and company.
- Assist with keeping the public spaces clean and appealing including but not limited to; trash removal, dusting, maintaining market/pantry stocking and rotation of supplies, and clean lobby appearance (mop/vac as needed)
- Assist in Market/Pantry inventory counts on a month basis and report counts to the Front Office Manager.
- Complete and follow all training as required by brand and As One.
- Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
Your Background and Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of related work experience.
- RAMP Server/Seller, CPR First Aid, Food Safety Certifications preferred
