Kennel Technician Assistants
A county Facility in Milton is looking for full-time kennel technician assistants to join their team. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with animals in a team setting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Working with animals.
- Feeding and walking dogs.
- Cleaning kennels.
- Helping to wash and groom the animals.
- Helping with vaccinations.
- Filling out paperwork.
- Helping prep animals for surgery.
- Washing dishes and laundry.
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED
- One year of experience handling animals and have experience prepping animals for surgery
- Organized
- Not afraid of animals
- Able to work inside and outside in all kinds of weather
- Must pass a background check, MVR, and drug screening
Compensation & Benefits:
- This full-time position pays $15.50/hour.
- 4 ten-hour shifts or 5 eight-hour shifts start at 6:30am- Monday through Saturday.
- This assignment is considered a Contract and will be determined by the client's needs.
