Production Manager – Polymer Extrusions
Location: North Central Florida
Compensation: $100,000 range, depending on experience

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead operations in a polymer extrusion manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing production performance, driving efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and supporting a safe, high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily extrusion production operations to meet output, quality, and delivery goals.
- Lead and develop production supervisors, operators, and support staff.
- Monitor KPIs including throughput, scrap, downtime, labor efficiency, and on-time delivery.
- Partner with maintenance, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve production issues.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
- Drive training, accountability, and standard work across the production floor.
- Support process optimization for polymer extrusion equipment, tooling, and line performance.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in plastics, polymer, or extrusion environments.
- Strong understanding of extrusion processes, production scheduling, and plant operations.
- Proven experience leading teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Solid problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or process optimization preferred.
- Ability to analyze production data and make sound operational decisions.
