Bridges of New York, a transitional housing program, is looking for a part-time Maintenace Technician at our Schenectady location.
Position is a part time position up to 10 Hours per week
RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Must be able to perform the major functions of job with or without an accommodation.

Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.

Ensure that all applicable policies and procedures that fall within the scope of this job description are adhered to.

Report all unsafe conditions that could affect clients/inmates or employees which you become aware of to your immediate Supervisor.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
The following qualifications apply:

2 years maintenance experience and knowledge in electrical, plumbing, carpentry and other maintenance trades to provide assistance desired.

Must maintain a good driving record.

Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 pounds.

High School Diploma or GED.
