We are looking to add a talented, ambitious, and results-oriented individual to our team as a Pricing Analyst. As part of our team, the individual will have the opportunity to facilitate sustained profit improvement and operational efficiencies throughout the organization. The ideal candidate for this role will strive to become an expert in our price management process, driving a deep understanding across our organization of true costing and inventory controls, with enhanced pricing and margin analysis.
The Pricing Analyst will support our continuous development of the strategic pricing capability across the company. In this role you will be key in supporting both pricing optimization projects and the day-to-day execution of our end-to-end pricing process.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with our Sr. Strategic Pricing Analyst to execute our price change process.
- Establish and maintains a positive working relationship with suppliers. Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement that both sustains the initial gains made and continues to seek and achieve additional profit improvement
- Analyze customer and commodity pricing and margins to gain an understanding of cost and pricing volatility within the food industry.
- Monitor input costing changes and execute sensitivity analysis thresholds to provide reporting on potential changes to finished goods costs.
- Prepare financial reports with reliable conclusions that management can use to implement more effective operational strategies
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively within teams.
- Understanding of commodity market volatility and the impact on product costs
- Ability to compile, analyze, interpret, and present complex annual financial reports, statements, and/or projections.
- Ability to prioritize work and ensure all needed tasks are completed within designated timeframes.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- BS/BA in Finance/Statistics/Business Administration is required. MBA is a plus.
- +2 years of related finance experience.
- Proven track record of simplifying large, complex problems with multiple data sources & techniques to reveal data-driven insights & actionable solutions that drive business results
The salary range for the state of California is: $70,304 - $85,000 annually based on education, experience and geographic location.
The salary range for the state of Washington is: $80,168.40 - $85,000 annually based on education, experience and geographic location.
For all other states the salary range is $65,000 - $85,000.00 annually based on education, experience and geographic location.
Bonus potential: 10%
