We are adding a new position to our care team in Lake City. This position will solely work to ensure bathing is completed for assigned residents. Shift is 6a-10a and includes every other weekend.

Duties
- Assist residents with bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene activities in a respectful and compassionate manner
- Support residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance
- Monitor residents’ vital signs and observe for any changes in health or behavior, reporting findings to nursing staff
- Follow safe manual handling practices to lift, transfer, or reposition residents safely and comfortably
- Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and shared spaces to promote a hygienic environment
- Document care provided accurately in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and communicate effectively with team members
- Support residents with meal preparation and feeding as needed, ensuring dietary needs are met
Skills
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care environments is highly valued
- Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, and memory care techniques to support residents with cognitive disabilities
- Ability to perform vital sign checks accurately and understand basic health indicators
- Strong understanding of safe patient lifting practices and manual handling techniques
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or complex behavioral needs
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with residents, families, and team members effectively
