Receiving
- Receive incoming materials, parts, and supplies from vendors
- Inspect shipments for damage, accuracy, and completeness
- Verify packing slips against purchase orders
- Label and store materials in designated locations
- Enter received items into inventory or notify office staff for entry
- Communicate shortages, damaged items, or discrepancies to management
Shipping
- Prepare finished goods for shipment according to customer orders
- Package products safely and securely
- Create shipping labels and necessary paperwork
- Coordinate shipments with carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight companies, etc.)
- Ensure shipments leave on schedule and meet customer requirements
- Maintain records of all outgoing shipments
Requirements
- Previous shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred
- Basic computer skills for shipping software and inventory tracking
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team
- Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
