About Converge Design
Converge Design is a solutions driven company with a diverse portfolio including SOLIDWORKS. We solve customers' bottlenecks and roadblocks beyond just software and support. Our team is knowledgeable, process-driven, and we strive to maintain a customer-first culture. Based in the Atlanta metro, we serve engineering and manufacturing companies with Managed Services for CAD Administration, SOLIDWORKS, simulation, PDM, hosted infrastructure, and technical support. We are changing what customers expect from a solutions partner and SOLIDWORKS Reseller (VAR).
The Role
We are looking for our next Technical Sales Representative. This is a full-cycle role: you own prospecting, discovery, and closing across our complete portfolio - Converge services, SOLIDWORKS and the Dassault Systemes lineup, and all vendor products and services. You uncover the opportunity, carry the technical thread, and get the customer to the right solution.
You will not be selling alone. Applications Engineers back you on demos and scoping, and you work with sales leadership to build pipeline and win deals. For the right person, this is a pivotal seat on a growing team and a chance to shape how Converge sells.
What You'll Do
- Create new opportunities across the US through outbound prospecting, referrals, content, and social selling - not inbound-only
- Lead consultative discovery around goals, challenges, and ROI - selling solutions, not just software, and helping customers get the most from their investment
- Carry the technical thread on calls, pulling in Applications Engineers for in-depth SOLIDWORKS, Simulation, PDM, CAM, and hosted-infrastructure demos
- Position and sell the full portfolio: SOLIDWORKS and Dassault Systemes, PDM, simulation, hosted CAD/PDM, training, and Managed Services
- Co-create short content and videos to reach modern, self-researching buyers
- Keep accurate account, opportunity, and forecast data in our CRM (Zoho)
- Represent Converge at customer visits, industry events, and our annual 3DEXPERIENCE World
What We're Looking For - Sales Experience
- 2+ years of full-cycle B2B sales with a track record of generating pipeline and closing - a proven seller who ramps quickly, not a from-scratch trainee
- Customer-first and consultative - curious and resilient, you measure success by getting customers the right solution, not the upsell
- Energized by prospecting and creating new pipeline, not just farming existing accounts
- Highly engaged and coachable - open to feedback and driven to keep getting better
- Comfortable with CRM discipline, forecasting, and accountability to a quota
- Based in or near the Gainesville / north Atlanta area (prospecting is nationwide)
What We're Looking For - Technical / Product Experience
- SOLIDWORKS or CAD sales experience - you have sold, supported, or used SOLIDWORKS, PDM, 3DEXPERIENCE, or a comparable CAD platform
- Technically credible enough to carry a technical conversation and know when to bring in an engineer - you research fast and learn quickly
- A clear, concise communicator and confident presenter who can explain technical concepts to non-technical buyers
- Using AI in some part of your workflow already and actively learning more - leaning into AI, not necessarily an expert yet
Bonus Points
- Prior VAR / reseller experience (SOLIDWORKS or Dassault channel) or selling for an adjacent vendor (Onshape, PTC, Autodesk, 3D scanning/printing, simulation, or CAM)
- Hands-on CRM experience (Zoho, HubSpot, or similar) - pipeline, forecasting, and activity management
- Comfort creating content and being on camera; social-selling experience
- SOLIDWORKS PDM exposure (vault administration or user-level)
- Exposure to FEA / Simulation tools (SOLIDWORKS Simulation, ANSYS, or similar)
- Any SOLIDWORKS certifications (CSWA, CSWP)
- Cloud, managed IT, or hosted-infrastructure sales exposure (cybersecurity, disaster recovery, CAD hosting) - crossover with our EpiGrid offering
This Role Is a Great Fit If
- You want to help build and improve a sales engine, not just run someone else's playbook
- You want to grow your career in CAD, engineering software, and advanced manufacturing
- You are creative, collaborative, and make the people around you better

- Compensation: Base salary plus uncapped commission - unlimited earning potential, no commission cap

Work Arrangement
Remote, north Atlanta area preference /Southeast Region. Minimal travel required - some for onboarding, occasional customer visits and team building, and our annual 3DEXPERIENCE World. You must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not offered. Relocation is not offered for this role.
