POSITION SUMMARY: The Home Care Director oversees the daily operations of the home care program, ensuring that clients receive high-quality, safe, and compassionate services in their homes. This role manages staff, coordinates care services, maintains regulatory compliance, and leads program growth within the community.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Experience in healthcare, home care, or senior services
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Knowledge of home care regulations and compliance requirements
• Strong organizational and communication skills • Ability to manage staff schedules and client needs effectively
- Computer skills are a must
- Understanding of Medicaid regulations and payment process
- Prefer RN, LPN or Home Care Management experience
- Prefer experience with aging services or community-based programs

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Oversee daily operations of the home care program
- Supervise and support caregivers, homemakers, and other home care staff
- Ensure services comply with state regulations and organizational policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain client care plans and service schedules
- Monitor quality of care and client satisfaction
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, families, and community resources
- Manage hiring, onboarding, and training of home care staff
- Track program metrics such as hours of service, staffing levels, and budgets
- Work with administrative staff to prepare and submit invoices and monitor accounts receivable.
- Complete client assessments or work with an RN to ensure appropriate evaluation of client needs and services.
- Support marketing and outreach to grow the home care program.
