Position Summary
The Assisted Living Marketer / Home Manager is responsible for leading the daily operations, resident experience, occupancy growth, and community presence of the assisted living home. This position combines relationship-based sales, community outreach, resident/family engagement, and operational oversight to ensure the home provides exceptional care while achieving census and financial goals.
The ideal candidate is a compassionate, organized, and results-driven leader who can build strong relationships with families, referral partners, employees, and the surrounding community while maintaining a safe, welcoming, and high-quality living environment for residents.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesMarketing & Census Development
- Develop and execute effective marketing strategies to increase community awareness and occupancy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, social workers, discharge planners, senior organizations, and community partners.
- Conduct tours with prospective residents and families, highlighting the value and services of the community.
- Manage inquiry calls, follow-ups, leads, and referral relationships to drive move-ins.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, referrals, tours, and conversion activity.
- Participate in community events, networking opportunities, and outreach initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve occupancy, reputation, and community visibility.
- Work closely with leadership on census goals, sales strategies, and occupancy initiatives.
Home Management & Operations
- Oversee daily operations of the assisted living home while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Create a positive, homelike environment focused on resident dignity, safety, and quality of life.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, families, employees, and outside partners.
- Manage resident satisfaction by addressing concerns, resolving issues, and maintaining open communication.
- Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, room readiness, and resident transitions.
- Monitor resident needs and coordinate services with care staff.
- Ensure proper documentation, communication, and follow-through related to resident care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming community environment.
Staffing & Team Leadership
- Provide daily leadership, direction, and support to caregiving and operational team members.
- Assist with scheduling, staffing coordination, and maintaining appropriate coverage.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive workplace culture.
- Participate in employee onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Recognize team achievements and identify areas for improvement.
Financial & Administrative Responsibilities
- Assist with achieving budget goals, including census, labor management, and operational expenses.
- Review occupancy reports, marketing activity, and operational metrics.
- Support billing, documentation, and administrative processes.
- Maintain accurate resident records and required documentation.
- Assist leadership with identifying cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.
Resident & Family Relations
- Develop meaningful relationships with residents and families.
- Ensure concerns are handled promptly and professionally.
- Promote resident engagement, activities, and overall satisfaction.
- Encourage a culture focused on hospitality, compassion, and exceptional service.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Previous experience in assisted living, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, sales, or management.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional, compassionate, and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
Preferred:
- Experience with senior living sales and marketing.
- Previous management or leadership experience.
- Knowledge of assisted living regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with census development and referral relationships.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
