Job Overview
Grieco Acura is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Service Drive Porter to help create a smooth, welcoming experience for every guest who visits our service department. This role keeps our service drive moving efficiently — safely handling customer vehicles, supporting our advisors and technicians, and representing the Grieco Acura standard of hospitality from the moment a customer arrives to the moment they drive away.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in the service drive with a warm, professional welcome true to the Grieco Acura brand
- Safely drive, park, and retrieve customer vehicles in designated areas
- Move vehicles between the service drive, shop stalls, and lot as directed by advisors or technicians
- Perform basic vehicle check-in inspections (existing damage, mileage, fuel level) using our digital check-in system
- Provide shuttle transportation for customers to/from home or work as needed
- Keep the service drive, customer lounge, and lot clean, organized, and free of debris
- Tag vehicles properly and log/store keys accurately
- Fuel vehicles and perform basic checks (tire pressure, washer fluid) when needed
- Wash or arrange washing of serviced vehicles prior to customer pickup
- Assist technicians and advisors with locating parts, tools, or paperwork
- Immediately report any vehicle damage or issues to a supervisor
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle location throughout the service process
- Support the Sales and Parts departments with vehicle moves as requested
- Follow all Grieco Acura safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and be on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles (preferred)
Preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a dealership, valet, or automotive environment
- Familiarity with dealership service software / DMS systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds)
Work Environment & Schedule
- Primarily outdoors and in a service drive/shop setting, with exposure to varying weather
- Some exposure to noise, fumes, and moving vehicles
- Schedule may include evenings, weekends, or holidays based on dealership hours
- Full-time and part-time shifts available
