We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Temporary General Dentist to join our dental team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients across a variety of age groups, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. Duties
- Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and prosthodontics with precision and care
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans
- Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment options effectively to patients and team members
- Execute oral surgeries such as dental extractions and root canal therapies following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Manage medical documentation meticulously, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical records
- Use dental imaging technology to diagnose conditions accurately and plan appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver four-handed dentistry for efficient patient care and comfort
Requirements
- Valid state license to practice dentistry as a General Dentist
- Proven experience in general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques
- Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient needs
- Familiarity with medical imaging technology and dental fabrication processes is advantageous
- Prior experience working in a dental clinic or office environment is highly desirable
