Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload shipments safely and efficiently
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400, and inventory management software to track stock levels accurately
- Perform picking and packing tasks for order fulfillment, ensuring correct items are prepared according to customer specifications
- Conduct data entry related to shipping & receiving logs, inventory updates, and order processing with precision using RF scanners and Microsoft Office tools
- Maintain organized storage areas by stocking shelves properly and ensuring products are stored in compliance with trade and international trade regulations
- Assist with shipping logistics by preparing packages for shipment, coordinating with carriers, and verifying shipment details for accuracy
- Support warehouse distribution activities by adhering to safety protocols, performing routine inspections, and participating in cycle counts or stock audits
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in warehouse operations and logistics processes
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems like AS400 or MRP systems
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing
- Valid certification or experience operating forklift trucks, reach trucks, pallet jacks, or order pickers is preferred; certification is a plus
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail; experience with RF scanners is advantageous
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with understanding of trade compliance and international trade regulations
