Part-Time Childcare Teacher – Immediate Opening
My Sister’s Keeper Childcare & Preschool in Ronan is seeking a reliable, responsible, and caring Part-Time Childcare Teacher to join our team. Training can begin immediately.
This position is approximately 27 hours per week and is designed to provide classroom coverage while the director is attending nursing school.
Starting Pay: $16.50/hour
Schedule:
- Monday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Tuesday: 1:30 PM–4:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM–4:45 PM
- Thursday: 8:30 AM–4:45 PM
- Friday: Off
What We’re Looking For:
- Dependable and punctual — consistent attendance is extremely important
- Patient, kind, and comfortable working with children of different ages and abilities
- Able to follow established classroom routines, policies, and safety procedures
- Self-directed and able to stay actively engaged with children without constant supervision
- Professional and able to communicate respectfully with children, parents, and coworkers
- Willing to complete all required childcare training before working independently
Employment Requirements:
- Must pass state and federal background checks
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening, including THC
- Must maintain a drug-free workplace
- CPR/First Aid certification and required childcare training must be completed; training/support will be provided
