American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Pulmonology Telephone Triage RN requiring 2 years of pediatric or telephone triage RN experience and Epic charting experience.

>Outpatient pulmonology clinic setting specializing in Pediatric Pulmonology and Cystic Fibrosis care
-
Patient population ranges from birth to 18 years of age with pulmonary and respiratory diagnoses
-
Role is telephone triage only with no hands-on patient care
-
Duties include handling authorization forms, pharmacy calls, patient refill requests, and telephone triage
-
Day shift schedule of 4x8 hours, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
-
No weekend shifts required
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
No floating between units required
-
Uses Epic EMR system
-
Active RN license (WA state or compact) required and must be in hand at submission

BLS certification required
-
AED certification preferred
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Pediatrics and/or Telephone Triage required

Prior travel nursing experience required
-
Epic charting system experience required
-
Pediatric inpatient acute care nurses will also be considered for this role

Provide telephone triage support for pediatric pulmonology and cystic fibrosis patients
-
Handle administrative office duties including authorization forms and pharmacy communications
-
Any color scrubs permitted

Local candidates accepted

Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be considered at a lower bill rate
-
Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Two supervisory references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required
-
Candidates must disclose any prior work history with Providence facilities, including permanent, travel, or registry/per-diem roles

First-time travelers will not be considered for this role

Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
