About the Role
You coordinate the daily flow of shipments, ensuring materials and products move on time and cost-effectively. This is a hands-on role where you work directly with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
- Manage carriers, brokers, and freight providers
- Schedule pickups and deliveries
- Track shipments and resolve issues quickly
- Ensure accurate shipping documentation
- Coordinate material flow between vendors, warehouses, and production
- Maintain shipment data in ERP systems
- Identify opportunities to reduce cost and improve performance
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
- Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments.
- Knowledge of freight operations, including LTL, FTL, and ocean freight.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or project-based environment preferred.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
