Job Summary
We're a 28 year-old Water Treatment Company located in Clearwater and are looking for a full-time Water Softener Installation & Service Technician. We primarily do residential installation and service, with some light commercial work, and service the tri-county area (Pinellas, Pasco, and Hillsborough Counties). Experience with Water Treatment is highly preferred and we do pay accordingly. Company van, cell phone, and all equipment provided. Great work environment with weekends off.
Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair water softeners in residential and commercial settings.
- We don't do wells themselves, but also install and service well water treatment equipment.
- Operate company vehicles, power tools, hand tools, and equipment safely and efficiently on various job sites.
- Maintain company van and ensure that it's stocked with inventory from the shop for the day's jobs.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining system functions, maintenance procedures, and addressing client questions professionally.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, parts used, and system diagnostics for each service call or installation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in water treatment installation and repair preferred.
- Knowledge of general plumbing for the installation of water softeners.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks with energy and precision.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles; clean driving record preferred.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
