Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Body Shop Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing repair estimates, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the repair process. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of auto body repair and mechanical knowledge, along with excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate damaged vehicles and determine the necessary repairs required to restore them to pre-accident condition.
- Prepare detailed and accurate repair estimates using industry-standard software.
- Communicate with customers regarding the assessment findings, repair options, and timelines.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure that all repairs are completed to the highest standards.
- Maintain records of estimates, customer interactions, and repair orders.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Assist in managing the workflow within the body shop to optimize efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in auto body repair.
Requirements
- Proven experience in auto body repair or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems.
- Experience in auto service management or automotive sales is a plus.
- Proficient in cash handling and service writing processes.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes is beneficial.
- Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
