Job Overview

Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and medical/dental history review
- Provide a wide range of general dentistry services such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and preventive care
- Conduct dental procedures including extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and aseptic technique
- Utilize dental imaging tools and interpret results to inform treatment planning
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to deliver efficient four-handed dentistry for optimal patient comfort
- Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-procedure care using clear dental terminology
Requirements
- Valid state license to practice dentistry with eligibility for DEA registration if required
- Proficiency in using practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar platforms
- Experience in pediatric dentistry and working with pediatric patients preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and medical imaging techniques
- Demonstrated ability in dental fabrication processes and managing complex cases involving endodontics or prosthodontics
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards and medical documentation procedures
- Excellent communication skills to effectively assess patient needs and explain treatment plans in understandable terms
- Prior experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is highly desirable

Pay: $100,000.00 - $240,422.56 per year
