Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC/R equipment, and appliances to ensure optimal performance.
- Install new appliances and mechanical systems following schematics and technical specifications accurately.
- Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes swiftly.
- Conduct inspections of equipment and systems to prevent failures and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in accordance with operational procedures.
- Support construction projects or upgrades by assisting with mechanical system installation and modifications.
- Lead or assist in emergency repairs to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, or mechanical systems repair.
- Strong knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings for troubleshooting purposes.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC systems—including air conditioning—and refrigeration equipment.
- Ability to perform appliance installation, repair, and maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) practices and tools used in mechanical systems upkeep.
- Construction experience or background working with mechanical or HVAC infrastructure is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work independently or lead small teams during maintenance projects.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with problem-solving skills to diagnose issues accurately.
- Ability to interpret technical schematics and operate specialized equipment safely and effectively.
