Duties
- Greet customers warmly and identify their needs to recommend suitable products or services
- Process transactions accurately using cash handling, cashiering, and cash management procedures
- Assist customers with retail sales, including product explanations and upselling opportunities
- Support banking and financial service transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, or loan processing
- Maintain accurate records of sales, cash register operations, and financial software entries
- Ensure the sales floor is organized, stocked, and visually appealing to enhance customer experience
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and following up as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service environments
- Knowledge of banking operations, financial services, or loan processing is a plus
- Strong math skills including basic math, retail math, and 10 key typing proficiency for accurate transactions
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform cash handling duties confidently
- Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse customers effectively
- Familiarity with financial software systems and point-of-sale (POS) technology
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately in a fast-paced setting
- Bilingual (English & Spanish)
