Full-Time Position
Typical Schedule: Four 10-Hour Shifts Per Week
Lockwood Packing Company is hiring a Machine Operator to join our RTE Production Department. As a Machine Operator, you'll help keep production moving by operating equipment used to process ready-to-eat snack stick products and prepare them for packaging.
This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Previous manufacturing, food production, or machine operation experience is helpful, but not required. We provide on-the-job training for dependable individuals who are ready to learn.

What You'll Do
- Operate stick cutters, conveyors, cooling systems, and other production equipment
- Set up, start up, shut down, and adjust equipment based on production needs
- Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout the shift
- Feed products to the packaging line and keep production moving efficiently
- Make minor equipment adjustments as needed
- Report equipment, quality, or production concerns to your supervisor
- Verify product appearance and specifications
- Complete production records and documentation
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas
- Follow food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures
- Work with your team to meet daily production goals
What We're Looking For

- Previous manufacturing, food production, or machine operation experience is helpful, but not required
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for up to 10 hours per shift
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 pounds
- Perform repetitive hand and arm movements throughout the shift
- Work in varying temperature environments, including refrigerated production areas
- Work around moving machinery, food processing equipment, wet floors, and production noise
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

- Work schedules may vary based on staffing and production demands
