Responsibilities
- Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to create smooth, durable surfaces.
- Install rebar and metal supports according to blueprints and schematics for structural integrity.
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to prepare sites and execute tasks efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support accurate construction processes.
- Perform masonry tasks such as laying bricks, blocks, or stone for walls, facades, or other structures.
- Handle heavy lifting of materials and equipment while maintaining safety protocols at all times.
- Support framing, drywall installation, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, and roofing as needed on various projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience working on construction sites with knowledge of construction methods and safety standards.
- Mechanical knowledge related to tools, equipment operation, and basic maintenance.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions accurately.
- Familiarity with concrete forming, finishing techniques, and concrete pumping processes.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, and power tools including mixers and saws.
- Knowledge of rebar installation, metal stud framing, masonry work, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, and restoration projects is highly desirable.
- Comfortable performing heavy lifting tasks consistently while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience operating heavy equipment is a plus.
