Responsibilities
- Greet donors and customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance on store products
- Accept and/or decline donations based on established policies
- Assist with stocking shelves, pricing products, merchandising displays, and maintaining organized product layouts to enhance the shopping experience
- Load, unload and move inbound and outbound products in accordance with established safety policies
- Occasionally handle customer inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, providing clear information and support
- Support fellow co-workers by occasionally operating the POS system in an efficient manner to create a positive experience for customers
- Ability to occasionally ride in donation truck to support the donation driver
- Supervise volunteers to be sure tasks are completed in a timely manner and volunteers have a positive experience
- Daily cleaning of retail spaces to ensure a safe, neat and orderly area to give customers the best experience possible
Qualifications
- Prior retail sales experience preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers and donors effectively
- Ability to perform stocking, merchandising, and product pricing
- Demonstrated proficiency in POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math calculations
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and merchandising standards is desirable
- Ability to team lift using safety best practices

Pay: $14.00 - $14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 – 28.0 per week
