About the Role
Impactful Senior Home Care is seeking compassionate, reliable caregivers to provide in-home support for a female client returning home from rehabilitation. This case requires consistency, patience, and a strong commitment to safety, dignity, and quality care.
We are currently staffing two caregivers (morning and evening shifts) to ensure continuous daily support.
Patient Overview (General)
- Adult female client returning home from rehab
- English speaking
- Not bed bound
- Uses a walker for mobility
- No Hoyer lift required
- Needs assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Family support involved
- No children in the home
Care Needs & Responsibilities
- Assistance with getting in and out of bed
- Support with dressing and personal care (ADLs)
- Meal preparation and light meal assistance
- Assistance with commode and bathroom needs
- Mobility support using walker (standby and hands-on assistance as needed)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
- Follow agency care plan and family instructions
Schedule Structure
We are seeking two caregivers to provide coverage:
- Morning Shift: Starting approximately 5:00 AM (morning care, ADLs, meal prep, mobility assistance)
- Evening Shift: Evening coverage (dinner support, ADLs, bedtime preparation, safety monitoring)
Requirements
- Prior caregiving or home care experience preferred
- Ability to provide respectful, patient, and hands-on care
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility support
- Able to work independently in a home setting
- Must demonstrate compassion and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with post-rehabilitation or transitional care
- Strong communication skills
- Calm, dependable, and patient demeanor
- Experience working split shifts or extended care schedules
Pay: $600.00 - $1,050.00 per week
