SUMMARY OF MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
Under the direction of the Chief Technology Officer, provides technical support for computer systems, hardware, software, and network issues. Serves as the first point of contact for troubleshooting, help desk requests, and IT support while assisting with system maintenance, user training, asset tracking, and technology operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Respond to help desk requests and manage trouble tickets
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot IT equipment and systems
- Assist users with training and technical guidance
- Maintain technology inventory and storage areas
- Prepare technical reports and documentation
- Support network and desktop administration functions
- Assist the CTO with daily IT operations and projects
- Ensure protection of company systems and data
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 2 years of IT experience; OR
- 5 years of related IT experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of desktop systems, networking, Microsoft Office, and remote support tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain records
PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid California driver’s license and insurable driving record
- FBI/DOJ fingerprint clearance
- Negative TB test and drug screening
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Requires the ability to sit, stand, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, operate computer equipment, and communicate effectively in an office environment.
Pay: $33.00 per hour
